CRISIS: Live Dates Announced

CRISIS, the reformed group which up until early 2003 performed and recorded in Los Angeles under the name SKULLSICK NATION, have lined up the following dates during the coming weeks:

Jan. 19 – Troubadour - West Hollywood, CA (free show)
Feb. 20 - The Pound - San Francisco, CA
Feb. 21 - TBA
Feb. 22 - Berbati's Pan - Portland, OR
Feb. 23 – Graceland - Seattle, WA
Feb. 24 - Samurai Duck - Eugene, OR
Feb. 25 - The Alibi - Arcata, CA

As previously reported, a brand new CRISIS track, titled "Nomad", has been posted online in MP3 format at this location.

"Nomad" comes off the reunited group's forthcoming album, "Like Sheep Led To Slaughter", tentatively due in April/May 2004 through The End Records.

The follow-up to 1997's "The Hollowing" was recorded with legendary producer Billy Anderson (CLUTCH, BRUTAL TRUTH, ORANGE GOBLIN, NEUROSIS, SLEEP) and is slated to include 10 songs and a multimedia section with video, etc.

According to a spokesperson for the label, the new songs are "heavier and more experimental" than those on their highly acclaimed "Deatshed Extermination" CD.

In addition to the original members Karyn Crisis (vocals),Afzaal Nasirudden (guitar) and Gia Chaun Wang (bass),CRISIS' current lineup includes Jwyanza Hobson (guitar) and Josh Florian (drums).
